Genesis (De Schepping) with Bart Moeyaert

BART MOEYAERT AUTHOR, NARRATOR

Genesis (De Schepping) is the first installment of the succesful musical trilogy created by the Netherlands Wind Ensemble based on three of Haydn’s oratorio’s. The basis for this show was Haydn’s oratorio The Creation, in a never-before-heard arrangement for nine wind instruments by Josef Triebensee, a contemporary of Haydn’s.

The Netherlands Wind Ensemble asked the Flemish author Bart Moeyaert to write and narrate his own version of the story in this production of Genesis.
