International Day of Peace (Dag van de Vrede)

The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly.

The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, TivoliVredenburg and Stichting Vluchteling believe that this important day deserves more attention and are working together to organise an extensive celebration. Dag van de Vrede is an annual event including musicians from all over the world. Together with the musicians from the NBE, they pay tribute to peace. The NBE invites guests who have fled war zones to sing, perform spoken word, dance and make music together.
