Stories from the East

The NBE is pulling out all the stops to offer you a unique opportunity, experiencing a new NBE-program with old friends: Stories from the East. The two dear Iranian friends Ali Ghamsari (tār) and Haleh Seyfizadeh (vocals), known from the previous program Bach & Sufi, combined with moving storyteller Sahand Sahebdivani who brings to life the stories his parents left behind as political refugees in Iran.

Together, in this unique NBE-performance – about war, flight and hope for a new world – they answer the question: ‘When you flee your homeland, can you pack up your stories and take them with you?’
