As the theme for this year’s competition is to celebrate our differences, being born in Iran and growing up in Italy and the Netherlands, I have decided to bring all of my cultural backgrounds together into an upbeat piece for wind ensemble which mixes influences of both eastern and western music and demonstrates them through each instrument individually.
