For the first time in its history, the NBE visited this beautiful island – steeped in Reggae music. The NBE travelled inland to find great artists in the ghettos of Kingston to make music with: locally famous musicians and young emerging talents. Together they played reggae, ska and much more. Some of these experienced young heroes will join the NBE on their Dutch tour. During the performance, there will also be contact with Jamaican musicians, who, projected from the island on a large screen, will play live with the musicians on stage. You imagine yourself in the heart of Jamaica: intoxicating, moving and swinging.

Big reggae names take the stage together with the NBE; Singer Kiddus I enjoys a cult status in the reggae scene since he appeared in the equally legendary film Rockers & Queen Omega, role model for many young up-and-coming reggae talents, is compared to famous contemporaries like Sizzla and Capleton.
