Napolitana

Naples, port city of overwhelming beauty on the Mediterranean Sea. At the foot of Mount Vesuvius, it has been bustling with emotion, fish, family, Gomorrah, and above all, music! Music by the great maestros that Napoli has brought forth, Domenico Scarlatti and Iovanni Pergolesi. And music from the streets and from the pub: special guest of the NBE is living legend Peppe Barra who sings Neapolitan folk music like no other, full of drama and humour. Whipped up by percussionist Giustina Gambardella and Simone Bottasso on his Italian organetto. Together with the NBE, they celebrate the city with a living soul: Napolitana!
