In March 2026, jongNBE will perform in twice during the Schiermonnikoog Festival. Between the North Sea and the Wadden Sea, the young ensemble once again brings its signature energy to the island.
On 18 March, jongNBE turns the stage into a celebration following the sparkling blend of classical music, jazz and improvisation by Nikolai Kapustin (1937–2020). For these young musicians, the annual trip to the Wadden island is a cherished tradition — a fixed highlight in their performing season.
They will present a “best of” selection of music heard at the Schiermonnikoog Festival in recent years.
This year, the sound excursion with jongNBE also returns.
On 19 March, you are invited to embark on a musical adventure in the heart of nature. The forest rangers map out a new route for each edition and share their knowledge of the landscape as you walk.
At a special spot in the woods, you will encounter jongNBE — and the music will resonate among the trees.
