Driven, creative, and communicative — that’s jongNBE, an academy for the next generation of top young Dutch wind musicians, where they are introduced to the unique working style of the Dutch Wind Ensemble (NBE). Through music, they learn to connect with one another and with audiences, while exploring different cultures and art forms.
Five second-year members of jongNBE embark on an intensive collaboration with five musicians from the Dutch Wind Ensemble (NBE). Together, they create a bold and spectacular performance entirely of their own making. Theme, music, choreography, staging — every element is developed collectively.
This project marks the ultimate finale of the jongNBE programme. The fresh perspective and boundless energy of these young creators, combined with the experience and expertise of the NBE, guarantee a truly unique performance — one you won’t want to miss.
